The seller agreement explained

When you become an approved seller, you sign a short agreement covering what we expect from each other. This article summarises the main points — it is not a substitute for the agreement text itself, which is what binds the relationship.

Your duties as a seller

  • Ship within 7 business days of order confirmation (or within the window you set on your profile, if longer)
  • Pack properly — see Packing records safely
  • Describe accurately — the Goldmine grade you list is what arrives
  • Respond to buyer messages within 48 hours during business days
  • Honour returns when required by law (business sellers) or when an item was misdescribed (both seller types)
  • Comply with tax obligations — see Taxes & Compliance

Our role

We provide:

  • A catalog of listings and the search/discovery layer around them
  • Buyer↔seller messaging
  • Order management and tracking
  • Rating collection and display
  • Mediation when something goes wrong
  • The auction-block system for time-boxed sales

We do not:

  • Hold money for third-party sales (Path B)
  • Issue invoices on your behalf for your sales
  • Provide tax or legal advice
  • Guarantee buyer payment beyond the structural protections of the chosen payment method

Ratings and seller status

Buyers leave ratings after each transaction. Ratings are public on your seller profile and influence visibility in search. Persistent low ratings or repeated complaints can result in:

  • A warning
  • A pause on new listings
  • Suspension or revocation of seller status

We don't act on a single bad rating — patterns matter.

Membership

Your Seller tier (€8/month for 10 listings/year, €14/month for 20) is what gives you the right to list. If you cancel membership, your active listings stay live until they sell or you remove them, but you cannot create new listings. See Tiers and what they include.

Termination

Either side can end the relationship. We can revoke seller status for breaches; you can stop selling at any time. Past transactions stay on record for legal and rating purposes.

This is a summary. The actual seller agreement document — currently being finalised with our legal counsel — is the binding text. We will publish it here in full when ready.
