When and how to pay
We split sales into two paths, depending on who owns the goods. Both end with you paying the seller — but the mechanics differ.
Path A — first-party stock (VOD Records)
When the listing is owned by VOD-Records (Frank Bull's own inventory, marked with the VOD Records seller profile), the checkout uses the platform's payment system. You can pay with:
- Card (Visa / Mastercard) via Stripe
- PayPal
- Klarna, Bancontact, EPS, Link — depending on your country
You pay at checkout. The seller is notified and ships within the agreed window.
Path B — third-party sellers
When the listing is owned by a third-party seller, we do not handle the money. The flow is:
- You click "Buy" or win an auction lot.
- The listing is reserved for you; the seller is notified.
- The seller confirms availability (typically within 48 hours).
- The platform shows you the seller's chosen payment options: usually PayPal, SEPA bank transfer or another method they accept.
- You pay the seller directly, outside the platform.
- The seller confirms payment received and marks the order ready to ship.
We act as the matchmaker, not as the cashier. See Payment goes directly to the seller for why we do it this way.
Time limits
For Path B, the order intent expires 48 hours after the seller confirms if you have not initiated payment. The listing then returns to active. If you pay but the seller does not confirm receipt, the platform helps mediate — see Seller does not ship.
Currency
All listings and totals are shown in euros. If you pay from a non-EUR account, your bank or card issuer applies the conversion at their rate.

Reading the all-in price
What you see is what you pay: item + shipping, no platform fee on top.
Shipping & customs (EU vs. non-EU)
Intra-EU is straightforward. Non-EU buyers should expect import VAT and a carrier fee.
